InternCRH is a leading supplier of quality construction materials, and they are seeking a Construction Management Intern to support roadway construction projects. The intern will gain hands-on experience with civil construction project management, including bidding, timelines, and budgets, while working alongside experienced professionals.

Responsibilities
Participate in safety protocols, toolbox talks, and site visits
Assist with risk assessments and documentation
Support market intelligence efforts, including gathering competitor and client information
Attend internal sales and project review meetings
Help with competitive analysis of bids and tracking backlog/capacity
Assist with the bidding process for CTDOT, FAA, Municipal, and Private Projects:
Review potential bids with management
Conduct quantity takeoff with guidance from estimators
Help solicit subcontractors/vendors
Support setup of projects in bidding software
Work alongside project teams to support scheduling, project tracking, and cost control measures
Collaborate with project staff to identify opportunities for improved safety and efficiency
Perform additional duties as assigned to support project execution
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related major
Basic understanding or coursework in civil engineering principles and construction methods
Willingness to learn about milling/paving and DOT construction
Ability to work across multiple projects and manage time efficiently
Valid Driver's License and ability to travel within Connecticut
Preferred
Academic interest in transportation, DOT, or civil engineering projects
