Responsibilities
Record and post daily/weekly/monthly journal entries related to Payroll transactions, Bank interest fees, credit card fee
Assist in the month end close process
Provide monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Review variances between GL and subledgers
Coordinate with divisional accounting teams on a routine basis
Support as needed for special finance centric projects
Other duties of a general accounting nature, as assigned
Assist with PO approvals
Coordinate PO hierarchy and approvals within the organization
Assist in the investigation of the potential terms with prepaids and support and reclass from long term to short term prepaids
Assist in creating and monitoring a system of controls, procedures, and forms for the proper accounting treatments
Ensure proper general ledger supporting documentation with adequate explanation is provided to internal and external auditors in a timely manner
Ensure proper records are retained such that testing of compliance with internal controls is accurate and complete

Qualification
Required
Bachelor degree in accounting or finance (or equivalent experience)
3+ years relevant accounting or financial analysis experience
Oracle Financials R12 experience
Computer skills (Microsoft Windows and Office programs; primarily Excel)
Strong accounting and analytical skills
Solid knowledge of US GAAP and ability to interpret and apply technical accounting research and reach conclusions
Desire to engage, lead and work in cross-functional teams
Attention to detail and data accuracy
Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills which provide the ability to establish and build working relationships with individuals throughout the organization
Preferred
SAP/Oracle, Financial Management, Tableau and/or Alteryx experience a plus
