Responsibilities

Create long term differentiated solutions for our core Semiconductor Test business by exploring new technologies and architectures to be applied against current and emerging key requirements for our customers

Working with our Business Development Office, develop differentiated solutions for new business opportunities adjacent to our core business

Propose any project that you feel can make a difference relative to the Innovation Lab Charter

Own the projects you sponsor and lead the development through a proof-of-concept phase

Be hands-on during the project and be supported by other staff from the overall engineering team as required to execute your project

Required

MS in Physics Preferred or MS in Engineering

At least 15 years working experience in design engineering with an increasing focus on developing innovative technical solutions on projects

Experience in the architectural definition of products leading to competitive differentiation

The candidate should have broad technical curiosity, be highly versatile in multiple technologies and engineering disciplines and have an inherent 'Out of the Box' bias in problem solving

Technical expertise in one or more of the following is desired: Instrumentation Architecture, Logic Design, Software, ASIC Technology, System Architecture, High Performance Signal Delivery, Optics, Thermal Control

Knowledge and preferably experience in the Semiconductor Industry and Semiconductor Testing

Comfortable in customer facing and senior management interactions
