Senior Linux Systems Administrator

The candidate will serve as a Systems Administrator supporting cloud-based repositories in a dynamic, mission-critical environment, requiring strong Linux system administration skills and the ability to monitor and troubleshoot complex systems.

Responsibilities
Monitor system health and performance
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues across hardware, software, and network layers
Maintain and manage storage systems
Coordinate with external hardware, network, and infrastructure teams
Provide after-hours on-call and call-in support as needed
Ensure compliance with system security requirements
Participate in technical and engineering discussions
Create and maintain system-level scripts and automation tools
Apply system patches and perform upgrades
Administer and manage user accounts
Maintain accurate hardware and asset inventory records
Qualification
Required
Minimum of twenty (20) years of experience as a Systems Engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
A bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. An additional five (5) years of relevant Systems Engineering experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor's degree
Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required
