AIMRIGHT Testing & Engineering is expanding and specializes in geotechnical and environmental projects across several states. The company is seeking an experienced Geotechnical/Environmental Driller to perform subsurface exploration and sampling, operate drill rigs, and communicate with project teams and clients.

Responsibilities

Perform geotechnical/environmental subsurface exploration and sampling (auger, mud rotary, rock drilling/coring)

Install standpipes, piezometers, monitoring wells, and related instrumentation

Safely transport, set up, and operate drill rigs per plans, specs, and safety protocols

Read/interpret project plans for site coordination and location accuracy

Complete accurate sampling logs and field documentation

Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and routine maintenance

Communicate professionally with project teams, site personnel, and clients

Qualification

Geotechnical drilling experienceCDL Class A licenseMechanical aptitudeSafety mindsetClear verbal communication

Required

1+ year in geotechnical/environmental drilling

CDL Class A with a clean MVR (required or obtainable in short order)

Regional travel typical within TX/AR/MO/KS/CO/NM, with occasional out-of-region assignments as needed (overnights ~1–2 weeks bi-monthly or as projects require)

Lift 100 lbs., stand for extended periods, work in all weather

Mechanical aptitude, strong safety mindset, clear verbal communication
