The University of Missouri-Kansas City is seeking a part-time adjunct instructor for its Advanced Generalist MSW Degree Program. The role involves collaborating with the MSW Program Director to develop course syllabi and teach various required and elective social work courses.

Responsibilities
Working with the MSW Program Director in the construction of the course syllabus, including the requisite assessment criteria and measures
Teaching required courses that focus on general social work practice, advanced social work practice, human development and theories, organization and community development and theories, research, program evaluation, policy, systemic imbalances, and Capstone
Teaching elective courses in a specific service sector, with a specific population or a specific topic, which can include social work practice in schools, health care, substance use disorders, gerontology, mental health, trauma, child welfare, ethics, violence, grief & loss, disabilities, immigrants & refugees, psychopathology, or groups
Qualification
Required
An MSW from a CSWE accredited program
A strong record of professional experience in areas specific to the course topic
An ability to help design and deliver with quality a course to meet its learning outcomes
Preferred
Previous teaching experience at the College or University level in Social Work
