Responsibilities

Accurately perform hardness and other tests and record results as required
Complete conformance and other related paperwork; perform shop audits and or/reviews as required
Report any deviation, problem, or irregularity to the supervisor or management
Practices and promotes safety and good housekeeping
Perform other tasks as designated by position
This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customers’ inventory and, as such, will perform duties in a safe and responsible manner to prevent customer loss or damage
Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow rules and procedures, and accept constructive criticism

Required

This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements; therefore, candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident cardholders
Education – High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum one to three years hardness testing and performing HBW, HRC & HRB inspection on material
Must have working knowledge of all testing equipment and terminology
Must have some experience reading/interpreting blueprints, be detail-oriented, and possess manual dexterity
Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift operator certification
Knowledge and hands-on experience of computer applications, including Microsoft Office and databases, is required
Must demonstrate the ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language

Preferred

Basic knowledge of commercial and aerospace materials and heat-treating equipment is desired
