Senior Electronics Engineer (Test)

Responsibilities
Develop Testing Frameworks: Designs and implements comprehensive testing methodologies to assess product performance and reliability
Lead Testing Projects: Manages and coordinates testing initiatives, collaborating with cross functional teams to ensure timely execution
Analyze Technical Problems: Evaluates complex issues by integrating multiple data sources to identify root causes and devise effective solutions
Mentor Engineering Team: Provides guidance and support to junior engineers, promoting best practices in testing and quality assurance
Collaborate with Stakeholders: Works with internal and external partners to define testing requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or a related field
6+ years' experience
Proficient in designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks
Expertise in PLC programming, ladder logic, LabVIEW, and industrial control protocols (e.g., Modbus TCP, EtherCAT, RS485)
Skilled in diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues across software, hardware, and system integration layers
Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems (e.g., valves, actuators, pumps, circuits)
Expertise in designing test stands that integrate hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
Skilled in selecting, calibrating, and integrating sensors (e.g., LVDTs, RVDTs, pressure, flow, temperature sensors)
Proficient in configuring DAQ systems and analyzing test data using MATLAB, Python, LabVIEW, and Excel
In-depth knowledge of testing tools, methodologies, and electrical systems
Experienced in leading testing projects from planning to execution
Strong ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to diverse stakeholders
Knowledgeable in industry best practices and standards (e.g., ISO 4413, SAE, CE)
Expertise in diagnosing and resolving issues, performing root cause analysis, and driving continuous improvements in system design, reliability, and efficiency
Must be a U.S. Person or eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State and/or the U.S. Department of Commerce
