Start in 2026 SummerObsidian Entertainment is looking for a Core Tech Engineer Intern to join their Obsidian University Internship Program. The intern will work closely with the Core Tech and Game Teams to generate tools for creating immersive open worlds and enhancing game features.

Responsibilities
Program, debug, and optimize game features and tools
Collaborate with developers on designs and implementations
Iterate on features and respond constructively to feedback
Qualification
Required
An avid gamer with a passion for making games
Enjoy collaborating with others in a team environment
Excellent communication skills
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Preferred
Working knowledge of C++, C#, and/or Python
Experience with Unreal Engine
Working knowledge of debugging issues in code
Examples of personal or school game projects
Passion for gaming and the games Obsidian makes
