Responsibilities
Provide legal advice on employee benefits and executive compensation matters
Focus on benefit plan design, modification, termination, and withdrawal issues
Ensure compliance with ERISA notice and reporting requirements and COBRA compliance
Draft and negotiate executive compensation agreements and address related Internal Revenue Code issues
Qualification
Required
JD from an ABA accredited law school
Admission to the New Jersey bar
Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the employee benefits and executive compensation practice areas
Particular focus on benefit plan design, modification, termination, and withdrawal issues
ERISA notice and reporting requirements
COBRA compliance
Executive compensation agreements
Related Internal Revenue Code issues
