Electrical Hardware Design Engineer II (Onsite)

RTX is seeking a motivated, innovative, and collaborative Electrical Engineer II to support the design and development of cutting-edge Mission Computing products. In this role, you will collaborate with experienced engineers while also taking ownership of smaller projects, applying your expertise in electrical engineering to design, develop, and support both digital and analog hardware.

Responsibilities

Designing and developing complex digital and analog circuit boards for embedded systems
Creating schematics and supporting PCB layout activities
Participating in hardware verification, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
Collaborating across disciplines to support system integration and qualification
Generating clear, accurate technical documentation
Supporting proposal activities and contributing to cost and schedule estimates
Working in a structured, process-driven engineering environment

Required

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred

Python, C++, or MATLAB programming/scripting
Signal integrity and timing analysis tools
Understanding of Design to Cost (DTC+), Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Test (DFT)
Prior experience with schematic capture
Experience with requirements management and traceability tools
