Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and document control systems for automated equipment such as robotics, AGVs, vision systems, PLCs, and HMIs
Address technical challenges by programming robots, writing PLC code from scratch, and working with various electrical control devices
Program machines, power them up, and debug to ensure they meet specifications using proven techniques
Develop project bill of materials, contribute to scope and specification meetings, and coordinate with the technical build group
Engage in a wide range of activities for professional growth, including industry-led technical training
Qualification
Required
3 years of PLC Programming or control engineering
Bilingual in English and Japanese
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or an Associate's degree with 3+ years of experience in controls engineering
Minimum of 3 years of related experience
Versatile knowledge across PLCs, HMIs, Robotics, Mechatronics, Motion Control, and Vision Systems
Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical or SolidWorks Electrical for creating electrical schematics
Strong understanding of electricity and industrial control circuits with the ability to develop electrical schematic drawings and program PLCs and HMIs
Full fluency in Japanese
