Senior Software Engineer (Onsite)

They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, architect, and code critical capabilities in an Agile environment, contributing to innovative software solutions for command and control systems.

Responsibilities
Design, architect and code critical capabilities in an active Agile environment
Develop innovative new features for a new real-time situational awareness Command & Control (C2) systems
Work in a highly collaborate team environment to design, architect and innovate software solutions
Qualification
Required
Relevant work experience in software development using object oriented programming languages such as Java or C++
Strong computer science fundamentals such as data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, information retrieval
Relevant work experience with full life cycle development including exposure to software requirements, design, development, debug and test
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance is required
U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred
Direct hands on individual experience with GraphQL, REST, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, Postgresql, Docker, Kubernetes, Angular, Typescript, HTML/CSS, among many other programming languages and related technologies
Relevant work experience in software development using object oriented paradigms and multithreaded systems
Ability to engage & build positive relationships with both customers as well as internal & external employees
Strong oral & written communication skills & proven leadership skills
Opportunities for travel to customer sites for demos, integration and support
Ability to react to change, handle tasks productively, & achieve results in a matrix environment
Experience with Container Orchestration implementation such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
Current/Active US security clearance
