Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a high-performing team of scientists
Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate computer vision capabilities into various applications and products
Identify new opportunities for computer vision emerging technologies
Provide technical direction and guidance to the team, and drive the development of the computer vision roadmap
Qualification
Required
PhD Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a dissertation, thesis or final project centered in Computer Vision and Machine Learning) with 8+ years relevant experience is preferred but not a must; OR Masters or Bachelor's in related field with 10+ years relevant experience
Strong publication record, including as a lead author or reviewer, in top-tier journals or conferences
Extensive experience in computer vision, deep learning, and image processing
Proven track record of leading research and development projects
Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and architectures
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong leadership and communication abilities

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
