They are seeking an Industrial Engineering Intern to work with the engineering team, gaining experience in Injection Molding, Extrusion, and Stamping while performing tasks such as data analysis and process improvement.

Responsibilities
Data Analysis: predictive modeling, data aggregation/summarization
Automated reporting: Use VBA or R to create reports then store in Access, SQL Server
Root Cause Investigation: Both manual investigation and data analysis to determine root cause of inventory inaccuracies within the facility
Process improvement: Time studies, standard operating procedure documentation, process mapping
Manual and systematic data collection
Process optimization
Ability to communicate
Ability to multi-task
Meet critical deadlines
Interact with managers, staff, and floor workers
Qualification
Required
Junior or Senior in, or recent graduate of, an accredited bachelor's program in Industrial/Systems Engineering, Data Science and Business Analytics, Management Information Systems, or other relevant major
Related course work
Must have good mechanical skills
Requires strong organizational and time management skills, close attention to detail and be able to effectively handle multiple priorities
Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to efficiently summarize information in an effective manner
Strong computer skills, proficient with word processing, spreadsheets, and e-mail. Ability to use internet and web-based resources efficiently and effectively
