Service Technician

Applied Industrial Technologies is a leading value-added distributor and technical solutions provider with over 100 years of heritage. The Service Shop Technician will customize and repair rubber components and conveyor systems, ensuring quality service to meet customer specifications.

Wholesale

Responsibilities

Build and repair belts and rubber components
Perform duties to fabricate, install and repair conveyor belting, systems, and other rubber products
Receive and verify incoming parts, materials, and supplies; maintain stock area, prepare sales orders
Pick up and deliver orders, stock, and supplies
Detect and report defective equipment, material and any improper operations or unusual conditions. Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition

Qualification

Mechanical backgroundBasic math skillsOrganization skillsPrioritization skillsBelt tech experience

Required

Strong mechanical background with basic math skills
Solid organization and prioritization skill sets
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, as well as ability to work at heights and tight spaces
Overtime hours and weekend work may be required
High school diploma or equivalent education

Preferred

Maintenance, belt tech experience preferred but not required
