They are seeking a Diesel/Gas Technician responsible for the maintenance and repair of a large fleet of vehicles and construction equipment, ensuring operational efficiency through preventative maintenance and inspections.

Responsibilities

Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections on both company vehicles and construction equipment including both gas and diesel machinery

Examine vehicles and equipment to diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle and equipment failure

Examine vehicles and equipment and recommend proactive maintenance or service in order to avoid vehicle and equipment failure

Some welding and fabrication

Perform DOT certifications

Operate and test equipment as needed. (Directional Boring Drills, Excavators, Reel Trailers, Flatbed Trailers, Ditch Witch Vac’s and more)

Complete appropriate and required paperwork to ensure documentation of repair and maintenance

Other duties as assigned
