Start in 2026 SummerJacobs is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern to join our Bridges team in Dallas TX in Summer 2026, working on projects that bring innovative solutions to our clients' challenges locally and worldwide. This role involves a variety of engineering tasks including design, analysis, and maintenance of structural systems such as bridges, under the guidance of professional engineers.

Responsibilities
Prepares plans, designs, calculations and cost estimates under the supervision of experienced engineers
Collaborate with senior engineers and other team members on project tasks
Performing drafting
Conduct site visits to assess existing structures or monitor construction progress
Participate in project meetings and communicate with clients under supervision
Qualification
Required
In pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Preferred
3.0 GPA
Must be at least a rising Junior
Working knowledge of CAD Software, preferably MicroStation
A previous internship related to bridge design
Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future
