Responsibilities
Develop and support front-end CAD tools and flows for Google Silicon SoC projects (e.g., RTL generation, design verification, AI-enabled CAD, design QA, timing, and low power)
Collaborate with design teams to understand requirements and enable scalable solutions
Work across functional domains to enable the development and validation of complex CAD flows
Drive EDA vendors to improve tool quality and deliver custom solutions for Google
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
5 years of industry experience in VLSI design or CAD flow development
Experience with front-end design tools (e.g., Lint, CDC/RDC, or simulation)
Experience writing production scripts in Python or Tcl
Preferred
Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science or a related field
10 years of experience in software development or front-end CAD
Experience with ML algorithms and AI application development
Experience with the full software development life cycle
Experience in advanced technology nodes
