Cancer Research Opportunities at Iowa (CROI)
The University of Iowa Office of Undergraduate Research is offering Cancer Research Opportunities for undergraduates at the Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center. This program invites applications from students in biomedical sciences or related fields, particularly those in their sophomore or junior year, to participate in research under faculty mentorship.

Applicants can be US Citizens/Permanent residents or international students
In the case of an international student, CROI leadership must discuss funding with the applicant's college
Preferred
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 is preferred
Applicants with a GPA of 2.5-2.9 will be considered
Preference is given to those in their sophomore year or completing their degree when applying
Encouragement for applications from students who have not yet had the opportunity to participate in a research program
