LeafSpring School at Charter Colony, an accredited preschool located in Midlothian, VA, is seeking a Director for our Before/After School, School-Age Summer Camp, and Elementary School Programs. The role involves overseeing operations, managing personnel, ensuring program quality, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Overseeing operations to ensure compliance with all applicable standards and regulations

Building strong relationships with families and staff

Recruiting, hiring, counseling, training, and managing all personnel

Maintaining and managing enrollment

Ensuring program quality

Creating and managing budgets

Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers

Highly effective organizational, time management, and multitasking skills

Willingness to work a flexible schedule between the hours of 6:30 AM and 6:30 PM

Master's Degree in early or elementary education, child development, or another child-related field, with a minimum of two years (not necessarily consecutive) of experience teaching young children in a group setting

OR Bachelor's Degree in early or elementary education, child development, or another child-related field, with a minimum of five years (not necessarily consecutive) of experience teaching young children in a group setting

A minimum of one year of supervisory experience in an early educational, elementary, or recreational setting

Demonstrated team-building accomplishments, fostering group collaboration toward common goals

CPR and First Aid certification (or the ability to obtain certification upon hire)
