Responsibilities
Strategize – Build the strategy for helping merchants succeed once they’re live on DoorDash by providing fast and seamless solutions when merchants face issues, minimizing operational friction
Experiment, Analyze and Implement – Use data-driven decision-making and sound business judgment to drive go-to-market & execution for new initiatives to help merchants have the best experience on Doordash
Influence – Work cross-functionally with our product, operations, marketing, sales, finance, and analytics teams to land key initiatives
Qualification
Required
You have a Bachelor's degree or higher
You have 2-3 years of experience in consulting, strategy, operations, banking, technology, or related experience; high-growth or early-stage startup experience and experience leading a team are a plus
You have a proven track record of working on highly cross-functional initiatives, managing towards ambitious goals, and succeeding in a complex environments
You're an owner / self-starter – You have a bias towards action and are proactive in identifying opportunities and solutions, and areas to add value
You're naturally curious – You always look for ways to innovate and improve
You're a problem solver – You solve problems from first principles and resist “this is how it's always been done” thinking
You're analytical – You let data win arguments, and you're comfortable pulling your own data in SQL or modeling in Excel
You're gritty – You roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to make things successful
You're persuasive and a relationship-builder – You leverage clear, concise communications (both written and verbal) to influence and motivate people at all levels across a variety of job functions
Must be comfortable regularly exercising discretion and independent judgment in performing job duties, including evaluating options, making informed decisions, and determining appropriate courses of action within the scope of assigned responsibilities
