The role involves diagnosing problems, performing repairs in the field, and maintaining equipment while building productive customer relationships.

Responsibilities

Diagnose problems with generators, air compressors and HVAC
Perform all repairs associated with the diagnosis that is possible out in the field
Locate and order parts as required. On occasion, this may require you to coordinate with parts-drivers to get the parts you need to your work site
Write up detailed service reports for both internal and external requirements
Maintain own equipment
Build productive customer relationships to benefit all involved

Required

Proven track record of ability to perform and fix generators, air compressors and HVAC in a timely manner to the quality and standard required
Strong understanding of electrical components such as switch gears and automatic transfer switches and HVAC equipment
The ability to self motivate and self manage time
A record of promptness to get to and from work on time
Strong ability to communicate and listen, understanding customer needs and performing the work necessary
Strong writing skills to complete detailed service reports
A current DOT Medical Card
A current CDL A
