New GradNEOGOV is part of Hennepin County's Human Services and Public Health department. They are seeking a Volunteer Visitor Support Liaison to greet and assist individuals entering the Human Service Centers, ensuring a welcoming environment and helping visitors navigate resources and services.

Responsibilities
Assist visitors with checking in at self-service kiosks
Offer respectful guidance and help people navigate the facility
Engage thoughtfully to understand each visitor’s needs before directing them to services
Share accurate information about services available at the Northwest, North, or South Human Service Centers
Monitor lobby areas for well-being concerns and respond or escalate appropriately
Follow health, safety, and emergency protocols as trained
Qualification
Required
Enjoy working with diverse populations
Strong listening and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a helping team
Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
Reliable and committed to scheduled shifts
Must be at least 18 years old
Completion of application, interview, orientation, background check (if applicable), and training
Preferred
Bilingual skills in Hmong, Russian, Spanish, or Somali are appreciated but not required
