Responsibilities

Provide HR Operational Support: Serve as the primary contact for general HR inquiries, manage unemployment claims, support leave of absence and accommodation processes (FMLA, ADA, personal, religious), and handle escalated background check issues
Manage HR Data and Reporting: Generate, maintain, and analyze reports and dashboards related to leaves, employee classification, and other key HR metrics
Support Talent, Training, and Compliance: Collaborate on cyclical HR programs, assist with training delivery, ensure accurate employee classification, and uphold compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices
Lead and Contribute to Projects: Participate in, lead and/or support internal projects/initiatives as needed

Required

Experience in HR, or related field (including retail leadership): 3+ years
FMLA, ADA, leave administration experience: 2+ years
HR Policies, Procedures, Best Practices, Employment Law and Regulatory Compliance familiarity: 3+ years
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred, but not required
Excellent communication (written and verbal), organizational, and time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
High level of customer service and attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly and positively to changing business needs and priorities
Strong ethics, problem solving skills and cultural awareness
Interpersonal Relationship Building. Ability to handle sensitive information and generally act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred, but not required
