Responsibilities
Design, develop, and enhance custom SAP solutions supporting WMS, TMS, and operations systems
Create and maintain reliable data integration processes for performance dashboards and operational reporting
Collaborate with business teams to define reporting needs and deliver actionable insights
Partner with functional leads to architect scalable, future-ready solutions
Participate in the full development lifecycle including requirements, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support
Plan and execute changes in production environments: deployments, patches, bug fixes
Troubleshoot and resolve issues, performing root cause analysis to support system stability
Maintain clear technical documentation including functional and technical specs and test scripts
Ensure adherence to development standards, code quality, and change control processes
Collaborate with third-party partners and internal teams to deliver integrated solutions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent work experience will be considered
5+ years of hands-on SAP ECC ABAP development experience, including design, implementation, testing, and support
Proven integration experience across SAP modules (SD, MM, FI/CO, PP, WM) and with external systems
Proficient in SAP development tools: ABAP Workbench, ALV, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, SmartForms, Adobe Forms
Strong skills in database design, data modeling, and performance tuning
Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
Preferred
Familiarity with SAP Fiori/UI5 or SAP Gateway is a plus
Experience with SAP Solution Manager, job schedulers, or third-party integrations is a plus
Strong understanding of discrete manufacturing environments (ammunition industry experience is a plus)
Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 and modern UI techniques is beneficial
