Knowledge & Innovation Assistant

Responsibilities

Assist with the development and maintenance of practice group resources
Organize, upload and tag legal documents
Interface with attorneys to gather key matter information and ensure our knowledge bases are accurate and complete
Work closely with K&I Attorneys to test, evaluate and incorporate AI and other innovations into our processes
Support the development of AI training materials and facilitate access workflows
Support the implementation and roll-out of new technologies and processes, including coordinating with vendors, tracking progress and ensuring smooth project execution
Stay informed about new legal technologies and industry trends, and share your findings with the team

Required

Undergraduate degree from an accredited university or college
Minimum 3.5 GPA
Interest in law or technology, as demonstrated through coursework, extracurricular activities, internships or other work experience strongly preferred
Ability to quickly learn and understand various applications, databases, programs, systems, tools and new technologies
Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across a large team
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Highly developed organizational skills, sound judgment, and attention to detail
Ability to understand priorities
Ability to manage multiple priority projects/tasks at once to meet designated deadlines
Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and professional dedication
Flexibility to quickly switch gears and tackle nuanced tasks
Willingness to work extended hours as needed
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and web-based tools

Preferred

Prior work experience in law or technology is a plus
