The UPS Store is an independently owned franchise that provides retail shipping and customer service solutions. The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, processing packages, and advising customers on products and services.

Deliver outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries

Continuously practice good listening skills with customers and UPS Store team members, and leadership

Take ownership of the customer's shipping problem and offer viable solutions

Take action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends

Operate all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion and be willing to teach others

Maintain a clean and safe working environment

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK SATURDAYS AND CLOSING SHIFTS

Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Must be reliable and punctual

Good communication and people skills

High school diploma or GED required

Strong customer service skills and abilities

Must be an energetic self-starter who is driven to succeed

Strong computer and internet skills

Preferred

Experience in the Pack & Ship industry preferred

Shipping experience desired

Able to cross sell and up sell products and services

Able to follow and understand quality guidelines

Able to operate a wide variety of business equipment
