They are seeking a Manufacturing & Engineering Manager to oversee daily operations of engineering and production, ensuring the successful design and delivery of custom capital equipment while managing project engineers and coordinating workflow on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

Supervise and mentor a small team of project engineers

Oversee the design and execution of custom polymer processing systems

Review and approve engineering drawings and project documentation

Lead project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation

Collaborate with sales, manufacturing, and service departments to align on customer specs and delivery timelines

Drive continuous improvement and technology integration

Plan and oversee manufacturing workflows and personnel

Ensure on-time production and shipping targets are met

Manage safety programs and OSHA compliance

Oversee purchasing strategies and vendor performance

Coordinate capital improvement projects and facility planning

Lead performance reviews and employee development across departments
