Lead payroll and tax teams, including supervisors and specialists
Oversee payroll processing and accounts payable
Manage payroll software systems and upgrades
Ensure timely and accurate payroll and tax filings
Maintain and reconcile payroll systems and records
Supervise preparation of federal and state tax documents (941, 940, W-2, SUTA)
Respond to tax notices and correspondence
Provide training and development for payroll staff
Stay current with payroll regulations and software updates
Qualification
Required
3+ years of payroll accounting experience in aggregate filing
3+ years of leadership experience
Strong understanding of payroll data formats and reporting
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and payroll systems
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred
College degree in business-related field preferred
CPP certification preferred, but not required
