Responsibilities

Responsible for the financial performance of the business area including the oversight of program finance for large complex programs and financial planning & analysis (FP&A)

Provide financial leadership to foster and drive business success

Lead and develop the finance team to ensure cross functional effectiveness

Ensure Business Area adherence to financial policies, practices and procedures

Assess business risk and develop and execute business-wide growth and improvement plans

Communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of management and subordinates including executive level presentations and briefings

Lead, evaluate, integrate and support change management and process improvements

Develop financial performance reporting to support business decision making

Required

Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 12 years of prior related experience

Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience

In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience

Ability to obtain a TS/SCI US Government Security Clearance

Preferred

Strong business acumen; understands business implications of decisions; demonstrates knowledge of market and competition

A self-starter; highly motivated; a strong work ethic; ability to promote respect, trust & mobilize organization to fulfill the vision

Prior experience with a government contractor or with an aerospace and defense company

Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Earned Value Management

Experience with PeopleSoft, Cobra and Hyperion

Master's degree in business, finance, accounting or related field
