Responsibilities
Lead the evolution of our infrastructure, developer environments, and operations as we build our next generation platform
Architect and build DevOps pipelines and production operations infrastructure while managing the transition from our current systems
Design deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions or Jenkins
Architect containerized infrastructure and build best-in-class developer environments
Contribute to our next generation SaaS platform architecture, data pipeline and model management
Write Python services and Flask applications
Establish modern monitoring, security controls, and operational practices while keeping current systems running smoothly during the transition
Qualification
Required
8-10+ years of experience running production systems at scale
Demonstrated experience designing and operating SaaS platforms
Track record of successfully evolving infrastructure and managing system migrations without disrupting the business
Outside-the-box thinking combined with pragmatic decision-making—you know when to be scrappy versus when to invest in well-architected solutions
Proficiency in Python and Flask for building backend services and internal tooling
Deep hands-on experience with VM technologies (VMware, KVM, or cloud-native compute)
Strong security mindset—implementing access controls, managing secrets, hardening systems, and designing defense-in-depth architectures
Production experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals
Efficient and secure data pipeline and modelling
On-call and incident response experience with a track record of building enterprise operational practices
3 years - SaaS platform architecture and design
3 years - Developer environment architecture and tooling
5 years - Strong Python development experience
2 years - Production Flask application development and deployment
5 years - Core AWS experience
5 years - CI/CD pipeline development (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc)
7 years - Docker and Kubernetes (or other cluster services) orchestration
5 years - VM infrastructure management and optimization
Security best practices and implementation
Preferred
Experience in financial services or fintech environments
Understanding of compliance requirements and regulated infrastructure
Familiarity with financial data systems and security standards
Linux systems administration
