USF College of Nursing is seeking candidates for tenured or tenure-track positions at all ranks in the field of neuroscience. The successful candidates will focus on the molecular basis of neurological disorders and are expected to develop a nationally recognized research program while participating in education and mentoring.
Higher Education
Responsibilities
Work on the molecular basis of neurological disorders, including Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, ALS-FTD, Ataxia, Huntington’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, stroke/vascular dementia, and other neurological and psychiatric disorders
Develop a nationally recognized, competitively funded research program
Participate in graduate/medical student education and mentoring
Qualification
Required
Candidates must have a Post-Doctorate degree
Candidates should work on the molecular basis of neurological disorders
Candidates should have experience with disorders such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, ALS-FTD, Ataxia, Huntington's disease, Multiple Sclerosis, stroke/vascular dementia, and other neurological and psychiatric disorders
Candidates should have a focus on aging and brain repair
Candidates are expected to have already established or have the potential to develop a nationally recognized, competitively funded research program
Candidates should participate in graduate/medical student education and mentoring
