Centific is a frontier AI data foundry that empowers clients with safe, scalable AI deployment. The Financial Analyst will assist in tracking project budgets, support financial reporting, and identify opportunities for automation in financial analysis tasks.

Responsibilities

Assist in tracking and monitoring project budgets, expenses, and financial performance

Support the preparation of financial reports, forecasts, and variance analysis for ongoing projects

Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate financial data and adherence to budget guidelines

Identify opportunities to automate repetitive financial analysis tasks using tools like Excel, Python, R, or other automation software

Assist in developing and implementing automated workflows for financial reporting and data visualization

Work with the team to streamline data collection, processing, and analysis processes

Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization

Create dashboards and visualizations to present financial insights to stakeholders

Support ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, project management, and IT, to achieve project goals

Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving financial processes and tools

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in financial management and automation

Required

Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Data Science, or a related field

Strong interest in financial management, data analysis, and process automation

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and familiarity with financial modeling

Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, R) or automation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx) is a plus

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

Experience with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) or project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana)

Understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and forecasting

Familiarity with machine learning or AI concepts for financial analysis is a bonus
