Responsibilities

Develop and strengthen analytical and design skills
Assist with engineering design tasks under the guidance of experienced engineers
Prepare designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematics, and final working drawings
Collect, organize, and analyze data to support engineering decisions
Utilize engineering software to solve basic technical problems
Contribute to project work while adhering to established budgets and schedules

Required

B.S. in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related disciplines

Preferred

Academic track with structural engineering concentration is highly desirable
1-2 cycles of relevant internship experience in the execution of structural design projects is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
Some production software experience including but not limited to: MicroStation, AutoCAD, MS Office, Bluebeam is highly desirable
Some structural analysis software experience including but not limited to: STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, CSI Bridge, and LUSAS is a plus
Basic familiarity and working knowledge of relevant building codes and standards including AASHTO, IBC, ASCE 7, AISC 360, ACI 318, ACI 530, NDS, etc
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
Master of Science in Structural Engineering or related field is a plus
