Responsibilities

Office work will include Computer Aided Design Drafting (CADD) and Building Information Modeling (BIM) work for civil, mechanical, and electrical (focused on fuel) systems in AutoCAD and Revit, as well as specification and design report writing

Design responsibilities will include calculating, modeling and designing fuel related facilities, managing design tasks, and communicating design progress and challenges to project stakeholders

Supporting and/or leading other designers to complete fueling projects and designs

Periodic local, regional, and national travel from time to time is included

Out of office work will include construction observation, site inspection, and compliance inspection

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical or Electrical Engineering Technology, required

Minimum of 0-4 years of professional experience. Will consider candidates with additional experience

Engineering Intern Certification (Fundamentals of Engineering Exam) with the aim of obtaining full professional licensure

Competence with MS Word and Excel required

Proficiency with AutoCAD or Revit is preferred

Design and engineering systems. Proficient in CADD and BIM systems. Willing to train the right candidate with proven design and CADD experience

Detail orientation, strong writing skills, and ability to communicate and work with a team are all important qualities

Successful candidates will be a self-starter who can identify daily needs and assist as necessary to complete client assignments
