Assist in developing project objectives, goals, and documentation policies

Develop electrical designs from concept through completion of construction

Prepare engineering design calculations and layouts

Prepare detailed engineering reports and narratives

Coordinate electrical design requirements with architecture, structure, and other disciplines

Required

Bachelor's Degree (ABET accredited) in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering

5-10 years of experience designing electrical systems for commercial architecture including K-12, Workplace, Higher Education, Justice+Civic, and Sports

Passed Fundamentals of Engineering Exam

Preferred

Previous internship, co-op experience, or full time position with a consulting engineering or A/E firm

Licensed Electrical Engineer (Registered in Texas)

Experience with BIM (e.g. Autodesk Revit MEP) workflow

Experience and interest in sustainable building design

Lighting and/or low voltage design experience
