They are seeking a Senior Highway Design Engineer/Lead to perform and lead engineering design review tasks for highway projects and develop civil design of multi-modal transportation projects.

Responsibilities
Perform and lead engineering design review tasks for highway projects
Develop civil design of multi-modal transportation projects per AASHTO, MUTCD and FDOT applicable design standards
Develop plans, specifications, quantities, and cost estimates
Prepare final bid packages, design-build packages, and bridging documents
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science or higher in Engineering, preferably in civil or transportation curriculum
12+ years related experience
Licensed PE in the State of Florida
FDOT experience preferred
In-depth knowledge of MicroStation and OpenRoads software
Strong technical design background in highway design and transportation engineering
Demonstrated ability to work in a team
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Basic knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel
Preferred
Licensed PE in other Southeastern States a plus
Project management experience desirable
Active industry participation in professional societies at local and State level a plus
