DevOps Cloud Tech Support Specialist
LS Technologies, a Tetra Tech Company, is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Cloud Tech Support Specialist to support FAA development tenants. The role focuses on integrating, deploying, monitoring, and maintaining cloud environments while ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with FAA standards.

Responsibilities
Provide DevOps support for FAA applications and systems, including deployment, configuration, and ongoing maintenance
Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or similar automation tools
Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible to automate provisioning, configuration, and environment management
Support version control and code management practices using GitLab and GitHub
Monitor and troubleshoot system performance issues, application errors, and infrastructure outages in cloud and hybrid environments
Respond to service desk tickets related to technical cloud support, providing troubleshooting and resolution in a timely manner
Assist with containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, or equivalent technologies
Work closely with system engineers, developers, and cybersecurity teams to resolve technical issues and maintain compliance with security requirements
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system configuration, support runbooks, and standard operating procedures
Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for infrastructure, automation tools, and development environments
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years of progressive IT experience with at least 2 years supporting cloud security and network operations
Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud service provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Demonstrated experience in network configuration, firewall administration, and Palo Alto firewall support
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, and Zero Trust
Experience with troubleshooting cloud and network environments and providing Tier 2/Tier 3 technical support
Ability to respond to and resolve service desk tickets in a timely manner
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
Preferred
Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Palo Alto Networks Certified Security Engineer (PCNSE), AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, CCSP, or CISSP
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or GitLab CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with POA&Ms, iRAT testing, and security documentation
Strong understanding of firewall rule design, packet flow troubleshooting, and secure network architecture
Previous experience in a federal or aviation-related IT security environment
