Responsibilities
Conduct virtual consultations with DocDraft clients to understand their specific business needs and objectives
Review, edit, and customize AI-generated legal documents, including:
Dispute resolution documents (Demand Letters, Settlement Agreements)
Family law documents (Divorce Decrees, Separation Agreements, Custody Agreements)
Estate planning documents (Wills, Power of Attorney, Healthcare Directives)
Family law documents (Divorce Decrees, Separation Agreements, Custody Agreements)
Dispute resolution documents (Demand Letters, Settlement Agreements)
Real estate documents (Lease Agreements, Purchase Agreements)
Business documents (MSAs, NDAs, Employment Agreements, Founder Agreements)
Answer client questions and provide clear, actionable legal guidance related to their documents
Ensure documents are tailored to the client's specific situation and jurisdiction
Maintain attorney-client privilege and professional standards in all interactions
Provide feedback to our product and engineering teams to help improve our document generation engine
Identify complex legal issues that may require additional specialized counsel
Manage your client matters efficiently in a remote, independent environment
Qualification
Required
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
Active bar license in good standing in at least one U.S. state (multiple state bars preferred)
3+ years of experience in transactional law, corporate law, or directly advising small businesses and startups
Customer-centric mindset with a genuine passion for delighting clients and exceeding their expectations
Exceptional communicator who can explain complex legal concepts in simple terms
Strong legal drafting and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
Enthusiastic about leveraging technology, AI, and new software platforms in your practice
Self-starter who is highly organized, responsive, and thrives in an autonomous work environment
Committed to providing outstanding client experiences and building lasting client relationships
