Quality Control Manager - Federal Projects

Responsibilities
Develop and implement quality control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and industry standards
Conduct regular inspections and audits of operations and products to identify issues and ensure adherence to quality standards
Manage and train quality control staff, fostering a culture of quality and safety across all levels of the organization
Collaborate with project managers and teams to ensure quality standards are integrated into all project plans and execution
Prepare and present reports on quality metrics and performance to management and stakeholders
Lead investigations into quality issues, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control management, preferably in a federal or DoD environment
Proficient in quality control methodologies and tools, including EM 385 standards
Experience with Procore or similar project management software
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams and collaborate with various stakeholders
Preferred
Certifications such as Quality Control Manager (QCM) are preferred
