Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive FinOps strategy for Azure cloud operations

Predict future cloud service expenses based on usage trends and organizational goals

Continuously monitor and analyze cloud costs to identify areas for optimization and savings

Partner with technical teams to manage cloud costs and ensure efficient resource utilization

Create and maintain reports detailing cloud spending, usage, and optimization opportunities

Develop and maintain relationships with cloud service providers to negotiate favorable pricing and terms

Research and apply industry trends and best practices in cloud financial management

Perform administrative tasks including managing purchase orders and preparing budgetary information

Provide on-call support on rotating schedule

Performs other duties as assigned
