The Water Business Line is seeking interns to assist with planning, design, and construction administration for various water, wastewater, and stormwater projects. Interns will engage in technical responsibilities including facilities planning, project design, and construction activities while collaborating with teams to create impactful solutions.

Responsibilities
Planning, design and construction administration for water, wastewater, stormwater and water management projects
Involvement in planning, process evaluations, detailed design, and construction administration
Fieldwork such as conducting site visits, observing construction activities, collecting samples, analyzing water quality data, evaluating technologies and plant operations, troubleshooting processes, and optimizing operations
Conducting condition assessments and overall performance evaluations of water/wastewater/stormwater facilities
Preparing and delivering effective presentations, participating in client meetings, and interacting with clients and subcontractors in the field
Ability to work on multiple, unique assignments simultaneously, as well as strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
Self-motivated, team-oriented and flexible individual must possess the initiative and ability to take on new projects and other challenges regularly
Exercise judgment on details of work and in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or closely related field
Local candidates given preference – relocation assistance not available for this position
