Responsibilities

Works together with internal and external stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery to customers’ specifications and accurate receipt of goods
Working as part of a team, coordinates receipt of all deliveries to the warehouse and processes shipments appropriately
Prepares shipments and determines the most economical and efficient shipping method; selects appropriate shipping container; packs items to ensure safe delivery
Prepares bills of lading; checks items to be shipped against work orders to ascertain that quantities, destination, and routing are correct
Completes required Dangerous Goods shipping training and receives appropriate certification needed. Recertifies annually or as required
Creates accurate export paperwork
Maintain department databases, accurately update ERP system, prepare routine reports, and scan/file shipping records
Willing to perform other duties as assigned or needed by the team
Follows established Company and departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives
Always Maintains Safety Standards
Cross-trains and assists in other Supply Chain areas (material handling, inventory) or helps in production when shipping is not busy
