Business Development Manager

Rand Technology is seeking a Business Development Manager responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities. This role plays a crucial part in expanding the company's customer base and market share, while driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships and customer networking.

Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, identify target markets, and assess competitive landscapes
Develop and execute strategic action plans to target and win the right opportunities
Establish and maintain strong relationships with potential customers, understanding their needs and presenting tailored solutions
Ensure superb handoff of accounts to account managers through planning, sharing and executing together
Seek out and cultivate strategic partnerships with complementary businesses to enhance market reach and product offerings
Target new accounts (clients with < $5,000 NGP in the last 12 months)
Work with Account Executive (AE) to decide if BDM support is needed for existing accounts
Traveling one week on, one week off, to meet clients, build relationships, and spot growth opportunities
Submit a meeting report after each client visit to the Director
Hit NGP targets: $5,000+ per new account to earn commission, aiming to exceed the 6-month highest month + 20% threshold
Work and collaborate with SPs and BDMs from other regions if required

Required

Proven track record in international business development and/or sales, within the technology industry. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Strong understanding of technology products and services
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities
Proven ability to manage and motivate oneself
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
Experience in components and semiconductor business
Fluency in multiple languages
