The Supply Chain Transportation Internship will provide interns with the opportunity to partner with leadership to help manage and streamline the day-to-day operations of the Foot Locker Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

Intern program working out of Foot Locker’s Junction City, KS Distribution Center

Interns will work closely with team members and leaders to develop an understanding of how Foot Locker’s Supply Chain operates

Support the execution of daily operations by learning different roles and responsibilities within the supply chain

Learn how to problem solve, lead and motivate a team, conduct real-time observations, and drive results

Taking initiative to seeking out opportunities for growth and development; continuously learn throughout the internship experience

Demonstrate a willingness to take risks; step out of your comfort zone and take on new assignments

Foster an inclusive, diverse, safe, and secure culture

Gain an understanding of all business areas to develop business acumen

Working with supply chain leaders each day to set goals and expectations

Maintaining a high standard of quality/accuracy through standardization of processes while also ensuring employee accountability

Tracking various KPI’s to identify gaps, and drive actions in order to maintain consistent performance

Provide new ideas and recommend solutions for business or team opportunities

Data entry, reporting, and conducting business analysis

Working with various supply chain systems

All other duties as assigned
