Payroll Technician
Yulista Holding LLC is associated with Calista Corporation, which is seeking a Payroll Technician. The role involves processing payroll, managing timesheets, and ensuring compliance with tax obligations while maintaining confidentiality of employee information.

Responsibilities
Manage Calista’s electronic time collection system
Code paper timesheets
Pay Federal and State payroll taxes
Pay Child Support and other garnishments
Process new hire payroll forms
Process leave/vacation/sick accruals
Print and mail pay stubs and paychecks
File confidential documents
Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree in Accounting with one year of payroll experience; or
Minimum of four years of payroll experience with basic college level accounting classes
Ability to pass a drug, background, reference, and credit check
Basic working knowledge and experience with payroll functions and laws
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
Ability to type 45 words per minute with accuracy
Knowledge of database software, spreadsheet software and word processing software
Ability to work in a Native Corporation multi-business environment
Must be willing to take on-going educational courses to stay technically current
Ability to learn and understand the Company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Preferred
Advanced Microsoft Excel Knowledge preferred
Exposure to government contracts preferred
Deltek Costpoint or other integrated software experience preferred
