Responsibilities

Task and project-level responsibility for scoping, performing, managing, and delivering multiple concurrent project assignments
Stormwater permitting and regulatory compliance, including MS4, IGP, and CGP permit support
Developing innovative green infrastructure solutions for the urban environment
In-stream and urban stormwater water quality monitoring program development and implementation
Applying innovative hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software, from 1-D to 3-D transport models
Technical document preparation, including technical writing and creation of exhibits and maps; and
Interacting with client representatives
Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree in environmental or civil engineering, natural resources science, with emphasis on water resources or closely related discipline
At least 5 years of experience in a water resources consulting environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong technical writing and communication skills
An outstanding track record for client management and technical leadership
Project experience and knowledge of regulatory requirements related to stormwater management
An understanding of urban sources and fate and transport processes for typical stormwater pollutants
Candidates must currently hold and maintain valid U.S. work authorization. New H-1B visa lottery and employment based green card sponsorship are not available for this position

Preferred

Advanced degree in environmental or civil engineering or natural resources science, with emphasis on water resources or closely related discipline
Professional registration (i.e., P.E., P.G. CPESC, CPSWG)
A general understanding of stormwater BMPs (selection, performance, and design)
Experience with modeling and design software tools such as SWMM, SUSTAIN, HEC-RAS, SBPAT, LSPC, HSPF, ArcGIS, and AutoCAD
Experience working on demanding, sophisticated, and legally sensitive projects
