Responsibilities
Design and deploy AI agents that handle real-world workflows
Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate AI agents into the core Soris platform
Build the infrastructure and APIs needed to train, evaluate, and monitor AI agents in production
Ensure agentic systems are reliable, secure, and compliant with industry regulations
Contribute across the product lifecycle: architecture, experimentation, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring
Establish best practices for AI system evaluation, auditability, and safety
Work closely with external stakeholders to validate that AI workflows solve real user problems
Qualification
Required
5+ years of backend/systems engineering experience (Python, Go, or similar)
Strong background in building agentic systems
Experience building, deploying, and maintaining ML/AI systems in production
Hands-on experience with orchestration frameworks (LangChain, N8N, Temporal etc)
Familiarity with distributed systems, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure (AWS is a big plus)
Strong collaboration and communication skills; you can explain trade-offs clearly and align AI goals with business needs
A builder's mindset: ownership mentality, bias for action, and curiosity to learn and experiment quickly
Preferred
Background in highly regulated industries (HIPAA, SOC2, HITRUST, PCI etc)
Contributions to early-stage startups or small teams where wearing multiple hats was essential
Knowledge of AI safety, deterministic outputs, and monitoring best practices
Knowledge of security and compliance best practices for handling sensitive customer and financial data
Experience leading or mentoring others
