Responsibilities
Turn specs from engineers into detailed, accurate drawings for mechanical components and systems
Partner closely with engineering, manufacturing, and other teammates to ensure designs meet technical and industry standards
Update and revise drawings based on feedback, quickly, cleanly, and with zero drama
Produce schematics, layouts, and diagrams across multiple projects
Assist with prototypes and early models
Keep documentation tight, organized, and version-controlled
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience building or assembling mechanical components (you know how things actually go together)
Proficiency with SolidWorks, Pro/ENGINEER, MicroStation, Inventor
Prior experience as an AutoCAD drafter (required)
Strong understanding of technical writing and code standards
Ability to interpret and produce mechanical design drawings without guesswork
Clear, concise communication, verbal and written
Solid problem-solving instincts, and the ability to work independently or in a collaborative, engineering-heavy environment
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field preferred
